Two Worlds apart

Morning Girl

Both
Columbus
I want a sister

We both want something we don’t have

I want gold and precious gems
I wish for joy
We both want happiness

I wish for power

I hear the island noises
We both hear water
I hear the rough ocean

I see my family

We both see the ocean

I see new land
I travel over the island

We both enjoy adventure

I travel over seas
I fight with Star Boy

We both want people to be more like us

I fight with Indians
I watch the morning

We both watch the day change

I watch the cloudy night sky
I smell the sweet flowers

We both smell the tropics
I smell the salty sea breeze
I taste tropical Fruits

We both live on the ocean

I taste the salty air
I love my tribe

We both live in a community
I dislike my crew
